If you're a smoker, you'll want to read this.

It has been proven many times how bad tobacco is for our organism. But today, we will stress on the importance of the antioxidant glutathione and how it could positively affect a long-life smoker.

In order for our bodies to detoxify and neutralize all harmful inhalations, we maintain high levels of glutathione in the lining of the lungs (alveolar fluid) .

When a person is a smoker, they have a greater need for the glutathione compound. Why? Because their body needs to protect itself even more from those harmful inhalations. Smoking is pretty much opening the door of your own organism to free radicals and cell oxidation, which are the cause of thousands of diseases and health issues.

Without a doubt, oxidation is greater in smokers than in a non-smoker and therefore their need for glutathione supplementation is more urgent.

I am going to quote the most common diseases that tobacco produces:

  • COPD disease: a lung inflammation caused by inhaling noxious fumes and tobacco.

  • Emphysema: destroys lungs day after day making breathing so difficult that even talking and eating become difficult tasks.

  • Bronchitis: a very high percentage of those affected by bronchitis, acquire it by inhaling tobacco smoke.

  • Cardiovascular Diseases: the heart of the smoker has to make more effort to perform daily activities making the person very limited to certain activities.

  • Pneumonia

  • Lung Cancer

  • Hormonal disorders

  • Increased risk of coronary heart disease in women smokers who take contraceptives.

  • Osteoporosis.

  • Decreased senses of smell and taste.

  • Advancement of menopause.

  • Damage to the skin, dryness, spots on the nails.

  • Sterility

We should also bear in mind that "passive smokers" are being affected as well. Those who inhale the same smoke as the person who smokes around them can also cause irritations, chest damage, allergies, asthma, respiratory infections headaches and even cardiovascular accidents.

The best recommendation we can give a smoker is to quit the habit immediately and replace it with healthy habits. Begin to take the antioxidant glutathione daily (if possible) and help build your immune system, strengthen it and your antioxidant defenses against the inhalation of toxins. Exercise is also extremely important and consuming foods that promote the production of glutathione in the body.

_______________

We recommend taking Glutathione daily in doses between 300 and 400 mg., preferably in liquid form for a better and safer absorption.
